From humble beginnings in 2002 the business grew in structure and services offerings
We expanded across three different areas of compliance:
- Skills Development
- Employment Equity
- Occupational Health & Safety
The name Cresco means “grow” in Latin and it is a name that was intentionally chosen to support vision to catalyse and achieve constant growth in businesses.
We initially established the business to provide consultation services to private training providers wishing to accredit within the framework of the National Skills Development Strategy published by government. A few years later, Cresco Training and Development CC was established to futher expand our offering in the learning & development field.
While making waves in what was then Skills Development, in it’s infancy stages in South Africa, we realised that our area of expertise overlapped with the various pieces of equity legislation in the country.
Through 17 years of dedication and hard work, Cresco Consultants managed to create a reputation for the delivery of reliable, high-quality management and mentoring alternative to compliance. This offers a solution to the often inconsistent management by internal staff, who often do not have the time or specialized skills to manage and steer these intricate processes.
We therefor expanded from solely offering services to Training Providers, into a wider service base to offer a multitude of Human Resource related services to corporate and medium enterprise organisations.
